Azure

Keep the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected guidance, then add a provider-neutral control model for the workloads that do not live in one cloud.

  • CAF and Well-Architected, plus a neutral baseline
  • Framework control coverage
  • 91 controls with provider-specific checks
  • 4 relevant pillars
  • 4 starting points

What Wombat adds to the provider view.

Azure teams already have a strong operating model. Wombat adds the cross-provider view: the same control IDs, scoring and evidence for Azure, AWS, GCP, STACKIT, OVHcloud and Hetzner Cloud.

The current framework control pack includes 91 controls with Azure-specific checks.

Context

Wombat's multi-provider Terraform coverage includes Azure alongside AWS, GCP, STACKIT, OVHcloud and Hetzner Cloud (framework v1.1.0).

Context

Use the comparison page to see where Azure CAF and Wombat overlap, and where Wombat adds sovereignty and evidence coverage.

Context

The control catalogue is designed to be read across providers, not as a replacement for Azure-native guidance.

Azure quickstart

Keep the Azure provider and CAF guidance, then add the Wombat baseline for the same workload.
